Nordic Drugs has in this therapy area focused on products that treat hypertension and heart failure. Our product portfolio consist of:

Amiloferm® and Amiloferm mite – a potassium sparing diuretic, that act on the distal tubule and inhibit the Na-Cl symport leading to a retention of water in the urine.

Atenolol Nordic – a drug belonging to the group of beta blockers, a class of drugs used primarily in cardiovascular diseases. Atenolol was developed as a replacement for propranolol in the treatment of hypertension.

Allergy

Acura®/Gardex® – a H1 histamine antagonist (cetirizine) which serves to reduce or eliminate effects mediated by histamine, an endogenous chemical mediator released during allergic reactions, through action at the H1 receptor.

Respiratory
